Program - Private and Group Tuition

Private Tuition

Studies have shown that there are many benefits to learning music, particularly, a musical instrument. Music is a natural stress reliever, and more than almost any other effort, music teaches you the importance of discipline. That means having the discipline to set aside time for practice every day and stick to it—no matter how you happen to feel about it when the time comes.

Einstein once said: “Life without playing music is inconceivable to me. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music... I get most joy in life out of music”. And to be perfectly honest, Einstein was really onto something, because music has so many benefits.

Our motto here at Musica Arioso is ‘everyone deserves a little music in their life’, and it is on this basis that our musical family is built. Whether you want to sing, play piano, or guitar or ukulele, it is our pleasure, and privilege, to bring you the joy music has to offer. Musicianship itself is a craft, and here at Musica Arioso we aim to develop and hone that craft to allow you to gain the fullness of what music provides.

Group Tuition

Music is a powerful tool for emotional and social well being. At Musica Arioso we offer group sessions in our studio for select instruments as a way of promoting positive mental health and community engagement. Whether it be you and your family, a group of friends, or an expression of interest we advertise, group sessions are a fabulous opportunity to learn about music with others.

We are now offering group sessions in the following:

  • Singing

  • Guitar

The number of people we can accommodate per group is dependant on the venue.

Music Appreciation

Music appreciation is a term we use to describe our general music course. We aim to introduce our students to a basic understanding and appreciation of types of music, ways we make music, and how we compose and create music.

This delivery mode is most often used as a form of musical therapy or support for students with additional needs or young children who show an interest in music but are not old enough, or do not have the focus necessary, to learn a specific instrument.

We also deliver this program to ages 60+ as a music wellness program, promoting healthy lifestyle and positive mental health.

After all, we do believe that ‘everyone deserves a little music in their life!’

Because of the nature of this program and the diverse range of clientele we offer it to, it is best to contact us to discuss your specific requirements so that we can develop a program directly suited to your needs.
